| The
Mysteries of How Prayers are Answered
Marie Francoise Thérèse Martin was born on January
2, 1873 and died 24 years later in 1897. St Therese has been my
special friend for ten years and when my husband had to take his
exam for admission to university I said a special St Therese chaplet,
asking for my friend to give us her love and support.
Time passed and with its passing, the thoughts of the university
exam had become more and more distant in my mind, falling into
the back of my mind as other things became more important. Yet,
my thoughts of Therese never failed, I knew she would listen to
what I had asked and that she would help me any way she could,
it was up to God to deal with my prayer in the end. Therese and
I could only do what she has told us about in her Little Way,
trust in God in a child like manner.
On the 21st of June of this year I was looking through some books
on my shelf, my husband and I were getting ready to go on a trip
and I wanted some good reading to take with me, the hours waiting
for an airplane and the time spent in the air become long and
tedious if one has nothing to occupy the mind. I opened a book
to read some paragraphs and see if it would be something interesting
when suddenly something fell out. It was a card with a drawing
of St Therese on it.
The next day we got some mail. Among the things that came in
the mail was a letter from the University of Stockholm addressed
to my husband. We opened it fearing the worst and to our joy found
out it were good news; he had been accepted into their program.
St Therese once said she would take care of us from heaven and
spend her heaven doing good on Earth. She also said that she would
let a shower of roses fall upon us to show that she had heard
our petitions and prayers.
The mystery is I did not get any roses or felt the fragrance
of roses, but, instead I got a picture of St Therese, falling
out of nowhere, where it had been for ages, until she knew I was
ready to understand she had heard what I had asked her. She had
done what she could and I had done what I could and in the end
God had heard the prayers of both Therese and I.
I am certain the picture was her way of saying she had been listening
and was still always listening to anything we have to say. So,
don’t hesitate in asking for her help, because, in some
way or other, she will come to your rescue and offer her love,
support and never ending faith in the strength of prayer and the
Goodness of God.
A way St Therese answered my prayers
A woman I have heard of has had a grandchild with braindamage,
I told a friend of mine who knows her about Bl. Margaret and I
prayed for Margarets help, the baby is now breating on her own
and the brain damage wasnt as bad as they first thought. I call
her Baby Margaret and (without me knowing this before) so did
my friend. Now we both call her that and her granny knows about
Bl Margaret because I told my friend who told her in turn.
Please pray for Baby Margaret, I will keep you updated on this!

Lots of Love!
Peace be with you.
